1. Who we are
We are "BEKAN Velkopoulos Stefanos" (BEKAN-Group) based in Athira, Pella, VI.PE. Athira. BEKAN-Group is a company that manufactures and sells boilers, pellet-biomass-wood burners and pellet heaters, which has been at the side of Greek consumers since 1981. It has a fast-growing production plant, a specialized B2B department and nationwide customer service. Our aim is to provide excellent and personalized service to our customers, offering complete ideas and solutions around the boiler-burner issue. Our priority is the continuous improvement and development of our products, with our people as our driving force in this process.
2. What personal data do we collect about you?
2.1 Full name / Company name. We collect the names (first name, surname) and surnames of our customers and the names of our customers' contact persons when they express their interest in our services or subscribe to our newsletter or participate in our competitions and promotions or register for our loyalty program.
2.2 Email address. We collect the email address of our customers and contact persons of our customers when they express interest in our services or when they subscribe to our newsletter or participate in our competitions and promotions or register for our loyalty program.
2.3 Postal address. We collect the home or business address of our customers for billing purposes and to send the bill in hard copy by mail.
2.4. Other contact details. We collect other contact information, such as the telephone number of our customers or our customers' contact persons, in order to provide our services better and faster and when they register for our loyalty program.
2.5 Billing Information. We collect customer information that is necessary for billing our services, such as the VAT number and the name of the tax office.
2.6 We try to minimise the risk to your rights and freedoms by not collecting sensitive personal data about you.
3. How do we collect your personal data?
We collect your personal data when you express your interest in our services, when you make purchases from our e-shop, when we provide you with our services, when you visit our website, when you subscribe to our newsletter or when you sign up for our loyalty program. We do not make your personal data available for sale to anyone and only share it with third parties who facilitate the provision of our services to you.
4. How do we use (process) your personal data?
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
4.1 Providing our products and services. We provide our DIY & Home Improvement related products and services either through our e-shop or through our customer service department.
4.2 Marketing and/or promotional activities, such as participation in competitions or emails, SMS, push notifications that we send periodically to those who have subscribed to our newsletter or our rewards program. To the list of persons we send newsletters to, we may also add those who give us their email addresses when contacting us and who indicate that they wish to receive newsletters. Each newsletter gives the recipient the opportunity to indicate that they do not wish to receive any more newsletters from us, and the member can unsubscribe from the loyalty program by sending an email to www.bekan3group@gmail.com
5. Legal basis for processing your personal data
5.1 The processing of your personal data carried out for the provision of our products and services to you is based on the conclusion and performance of a contract or - at your request - on preparatory actions for the conclusion and performance of a contract.
5.2 The processing of your personal data carried out for marketing and/or promotional purposes is based on your consent.
5.3 In certain cases, the processing of your personal data is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests or for the purposes of complying with national and/or European legislation.
6. Retention period of your personal data
6.1 We retain your personal data for the duration of our business relationship. We retain personal data of our customers and consumers for at least fifteen (15) years in order to be able to fulfill our obligation to maintain accurate records for tax or other administrative authorities.
6.2 We retain the personal data of persons who have subscribed to our newsletters (and/or our promotions) until such persons have indicated to us that they no longer wish to receive newsletters and/or promotional material from us.
