Next below, you will find all the boilers that our company offers to you.
Why should I replace my old oil boiler with a BE.KA.N boiler?
Heating costs comprise roughly 60% of the total yearly energy cost, thus an efficient boiler provides cost savings. Over the last years, heating technology has improved so much so that the performance has been enhanced (in consumption, noise levels, emissions, simplicity of use). Moreover, regulations have become stricter. For this reason, replacing your old oil boiler, even if it is still functional, has many benefits: a BE.KA.N solid fuel boiler provides significant cost savings in your energy bill, plus great comfort and facilitation in use. BE.KA.N boilers ensure significant savings in fuel compared to oil boilers, ranging from 30% to 60%, depending on the type of the system it is compared with. They come with an advanced system of temperature control, which provides optimal comfort and energy saving. They guarantee high performance and they are Class 5 in reduced emissions of nitrogen oxide (NOx) and carbon monoxide (CO).
Why should I choose a BE.KA.N boiler?
The right choice and the maintenance of a boiler-burner compound in a heating system can offer us significant savings, and this is why it is of the utmost importance, especially now that cost saving is more necessary than ever. By choosing a BE.KA.N solid fuel heating system you get guaranteed and certified after-sales control and support. Whatever heating system you choose, BE.KA.N will be there for you to provide you with solutions, as regards the right choice of fuel and the optimal configuration of the burner, so that you can achieve the lowest possible consumption and the best possible eco-friendy operation.
How cost-efficient is burning pellet compared with oil?
Burning pellet instead of oil can amount to a 60% of cost savings. Oil has a calorific value of 11,9 KWh/lt. This means that ideally 1 litre of oil renders 11,9 KWh of thermal energy. However, the ultimate thermal energy rendered depends on the efficiency degree of the boiler. Considering, for example, an efficiency degree of 90% per thermal KWh, it takes: 1/(11,9x 0.9)= 0,093 litres of oil. If we take into account that currently (2018-2019) the average cost of heating is estimated around 1,15€ per litre (in Greece), the cost per KWh of thermal energy in oil is estimated in 0,093 x 1,15€= 0,10695€. The average calorific value of pellet is roughly 5 KWh/Kg. So, with an efficiency degree of 90% in thermal energy 1KWh, it takes 1/(5 x 0.90)= 0,22 Kg of pellet, at an average cost of 0,25€/kg. Therefore, the total cost for 1KWh of thermal energy in pellet is 0,055€.
Which is better – choosing a one-fuel burner or a multi-fuel burner?
The boiler is, undoubtedly, an important part of a heating system since it is the part where all the heating produced by burning is transferred to the water and heats it. Due to this important function, the right choice of boiler plays a major role as regards the thermal level we achieve, as well as the cost savings we can ensure. In any case, our company will have a specialized technician carry on a study so as to determine the size and ideal type of boiler you need depending on the fuel you wish to use.
What advantages do BE.KA.N biomass/wood boilers offer?
BE.KA.N’s multi fuel boilers give you the opportunity to use more than one kind of fuel, thus providing you with alternative solutions. By controlling the exhaust fumes, they achieve autonomous switch between wood and biomass so that you never run out of heating in your desired space. Thanks to their high efficiency and high standards, they reach high performance levels and their lifespan can reach up to 30 years. They are certified by official bodies. They are made with certified steel sheet, 5mg thick, according to European standards. BE.KA.N’s multi fuel boilers are especially made for burning biomass products and easy to use.
How complicated is the operation of a BE.KA.N boiler?
A high-end electronic control panel runs the operation of the boiler with full management of burning and water circulation, making the operations of the heating system as simple as possible. The design of the boiler facilitates the procedure of inserting the fuel and makes it easy to clean. The fuel it takes can vary from pellet and wood to corn, stones, almonds, fruit skins etc. The desired temperature in the space we want to heat depends on the space’s thermostat.
BE.KA.N Boilers, Hot air generators and pellet/biomass/wood burners, are the perfect choice for your domestic of professional space, combining high quality and the best price.
